The 4A Greater St. Helens League boys tennis title came down to one set.
Camas and Union played to a 3-3 tie on Thursday, but it was the Papermakers getting the team win and league title by winning seven sets to six in the tiebreaker criteria.
Camas swept the singles matches with No. 1 Aiden Brasier, No. 2 Ishan Mehta and No. 3 Leo Zahu dropping just one game in those matches.
Union swept the doubles, but where Camas came out on top was at No. 1 doubles where Nathan Chen and Austin Shinn won the second set from the Titans’ Rohan Thawani and Pavan Chiganti. Thawani and Pavan won the match 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, but it was that one set won by Camas that decided it all.
Union won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles in straight sets.
