Travel along northbound Interstate 5 near the Cowlitz River bridge will be reduced to one lane until Oct. 13. Delays of more than 30 minutes in the morning and up to an hour or longer during peak afternoon travel times are expected.
The speed limit is reduced through the work zone from 70 mph to 55 mph as crews work to remove bridge deck patches and replace them with a more durable material.
Northbound I-5 will experience another lane reduction from Oct. 24-28 as well as southbound I-5 from Oct. 17-21.
