Behind a career-best outing from quarterback Blake Asciutto, Southern Oregon routed defending NAIA Frontier Conference champion Montana Western.

Asciutto, a sophomore from Camas High, threw for 416 yards and four touchdowns in the Raiders’ 49-14 win Saturday in Ashland, Ore.

The deep pass was a weapon for Asciutto. He connected with Christian Graney for touchdown passes of 70 and 54 yards. He also threw a 44-yard touchdown to Sawyer Cleveland.

Asciutto completed 17 of 29 passes and did not throw an interception. His previous career high came Sept. 3, when he threw for 285 yards and four touchdowns against Montana State-Northern.

The win improves Southern Oregon to 3-3 on the season.
