HAZEL DELL — Nine students from Kristen Myklebust’s health classes at Clark College assisted at the Hazel Dell School and Community Garden on Oct. 12.

Master Gardeners Bobbi Bellomy and Barbara Nordstrom and volunteer Lydia DePriest led students in amending the raised beds with growing medium, spreading bark on the paths and weeding.

“We are very, very pleased to have Clark College students back in the garden after COVID restrictions,” Nordstrom said. “They make an incredible difference in the garden; it’s almost like magic, the difference their hard work makes possible!”
