Clark County Public Health lifted danger advisories at Lacamas and Round lakes in Camas on Wednesday. Recent water samples show improved water-quality levels over the past two weeks with toxin levels no longer elevated, according to a press release.
Public Health continues to advise people spending time at local lakes to watch for floating scum and avoid direct contact with those areas. Harmful algal blooms could return if conditions change, according to the release.
The public can report algal blooms at clark.wa.gov/public-health/report-health-concern and find more information about lake advisories at clark.wa.gov/public-health/public-beaches.
