HAZEL DELL — Walk and Knock, the nation’s largest local one-day food drive, has presented longtime volunteer Jeff Fish with its second annual Bud Pasmore Volunteer Achievement Award.
The honor, named for Walk and Knock’s founder and first president, is presented annually to a volunteer who has given their time, energy and heart to the annual Clark County food drive.
Fish has recruited family members to the drive, serves on the board of trustees, served as a sector coordinator and as an area captain.
In addition, Fish is a longtime member of the Hazel Dell Lions, where he has been president. He has been chair of the Lions Clark County Sight Foundation for years and is a Melvin Jones award winner, the Lions’ highest award.
