Another hallmark of impending summer opened Saturday in downtown Vancouver: the splash pad at Esther Short Park.
The water feature is typically turned on from dawn to dusk during the summer months at the park, located at the corner of West Sixth Street and Columbia Street.
The splash pad at the Vancouver Waterfront Park, 695 Waterfront Way, is still being prepared for summer. The city says it plans to open that one by the end of May.
