Venardos Circus will make its local debut next month at Vancouver Mall, 7800 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive. The red-and-white “big top” tent in the mall’s southeast parking lot will house 16 shows from June 8 through 19. Created by former Ringling Bros. ringmaster Kevin Venardos, performances feature animal-free circus acts in a Broadway musical-style format. Each performance is an hour and a half. Showtimes are 7 p.m. June 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18 and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. June 11, 12, 18 and 19. Pre-show entertainment begins an hour before showtime. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children under 12 and free for babies under 1 year. VIP reserved seating is also available. Parking is free and the show is accessible for everyone. Snacks and drinks are available to buy during each performance but attendees are encouraged to order concessions when purchasing tickets. Tickets and complete details are available at www.venardoscircus.com and www.shopvancouvermall.com.
