Ridgefield’s Abrams Park is closed to vehicles while the city makes repairs to the park bridge. Division Street is closed to vehicle traffic east of North Fifth Avenue although pedestrian access to the park remains open. The bridge will reopen Saturday.

The city says it is working to complete necessary repairs and restore access as quickly as possible and is also working with the Little League and soccer club to provide alternative transportation to the park for scheduled sporting events during the closure. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation manager at 360-887-6010.

Visitors may park in public parking lots at Union Ridge Elementary School and the Ridgefield Administrative and Civic Center or along public streets and walk into the park. Park users are asked to be mindful of parking in surrounding neighborhoods and not block driveways or residences. Using walking trails or carpool rides is encouraged.
