Clark College is hosting a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its new Boschma Farms campus in Ridgefield at 2 p.m. on June 1.
The final building concept for the campus is expected to cost $48 million and should be completed by the end of 2024.
School officials hope that the new campus will extend Clark’s influence and accessibility into north Clark County and expand the school’s depth in environmental science — which will be a focus of classes and departments held at the new campus.
When complete, the campus will include satellite instructional facilities containing classrooms, health and science labs, professional labs, faculty and staff offices, digital study areas, and student services and support spaces.
Boschma Farms is on the corner of North 65th Avenue and Pioneer Street in Ridgefield.
