Local student announced as 2022’s Congressional Art Competition winner

FIRCREST — U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, recently announced the winner and finalists of Southwest Washington’s Congressional Art Competition, voted on by a panel of judges from across the region. The competition’s first prize winner is Hannah Kim, from Vancouver’s Medallion Art School, with artwork entitled 555 Days. Kim’s art piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol building for one year.
