MOUNTAIN VIEW — The National Merit Scholarship Corp. recently released the names of the first group of winners of the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
About 1,000 distinguished high school seniors have won corporate-sponsored scholarship awards financed by some 136 corporations, company foundations and other business organizations.
One of these distinguished students is Noah Q. Le, a senior at Mountain View High School who has been awarded the National Merit Boeing Scholarship. The Boeing Co. supports Merit Scholarship Awards annually for children of employees.
