The Children’s Culture Parade returned to the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site on Friday morning after a two year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

An estimated 750 students from Evergreen and Vancouver schools participated in the event, a celebration of the rich culture and diversity of the region.

Before the event, students selected a country to research, perhaps from their own family’s heritage. They dressed in colorful attire and carried flags representing those countries. Students marched from Pearson Air Museum to Fort Vancouver, waving flags and cheering along the way.
