One lane will remain open at all times while Interstate 5 Bridge inspections halt the flow of traffic at night next week, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
The closures include two northbound lanes closing at 10 p.m. Monday, and again at 10 p.m. Tuesday. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. Another set of closures will shut down two southbound lanes that will close at 10 p.m. Wednesday, and again at 10 p.m. Thursday. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.
The lane closures are due to biennial inspections by a barge under the bridge, which will not interrupt marine traffic.
