Vancouver Clinic and Oregon Adult Medicine, a Northwest Portland primary care practice, are joining forces.

Dr. Riyad Fares with Oregon Adult Medicine will join Vancouver Clinic as a physician May 2. He will continue to see patients at the same location, 2330 N.W. Flanders St., Suite 201, Portland, under a new name: Vancouver Clinic-NW 23rd.

Diagnostic and specialty services for patients will not change, though Vancouver Clinic will bring in a second internal medicine physician to work alongside Fares. The clinic will have additional access to Vancouver Clinic services.

This isn’t the first time Vancouver Clinic has jumped the Columbia River. In September, it announced it would open a new line of medical offices in Oregon under the brand name Enliven by Vancouver Clinic. The first of those clinics, located in Gresham, opened in December.
