A Vancouver man is facing a hit-and-run allegation after police say he struck a woman in a crosswalk Tuesday afternoon in central Vancouver and drove away.
The 56-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment, according to a news release from the Vancouver Police Department.
Police responded at 4:35 p.m. to the intersection of East Fourth Plain Boulevard and Todd Road for a hit-and-run. Signal lights gave the woman the right of way to cross, and several other vehicles had already stopped for her when she was struck, the news release states.
Police found the suspect vehicle, described as a blue Honda Pilot, at the residence of Bradley Kintin, 20. He was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of vehicular assault and hit-and-run resulting in injury, police said.
He was scheduled to appear Wednesday in Clark County Superior Court.
