A woman was carjacked Monday night by two men armed with handguns at an apartment complex in east Vancouver, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Police responded at 9:31 p.m. to the Meadows at Cascade Park Apartments at 13314 S.E. 19th St. The woman said she was getting ready to load things into her vehicle when two men in dark clothing approached her. After they displayed handguns, the men took her keys and drove away, according to police department spokeswoman Kim Kapp. The stolen vehicle is a red 2010 Mercedes GLX with Oregon plates.
Vancouver police’s Safe Streets Task Force is investigating the robbery. The woman was not injured, Kapp said.
