The Cascadia Technical Academy Information Technology Program in Vancouver is hosting an electronic waste recycling event from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. March 18 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 19.

The event serves as a community service activity for the school’s informational technology program that is collecting phones, laptops, printers, game systems, keyboards, routers and more. Things like appliances, televisions and batteries will not be accepted.

Donations can be made at the front of the Firstenburg Technology Center at 12200 N.E. 28th St. Organizers are asking that people call 360-604-1050 ext. 2124 rather than come inside the building with their donations.

Those with additional questions can contact the building’s tech coordinator Ray Nelson at ray.nelson@evergreenps.org.
