The Clark County Commission on Aging will hold a joint virtual meeting with the county council at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday to review a summary of the commission’s ninth year of work.

The commission dedicated its ninth year to the road to recovery from COVID-19. At each meeting, guest experts discussed ways to connect with older adults, community support for caregivers, meeting the nutritional needs, working to address housing and houselessness needs and emergency preparedness, among others.

The commission will also outline its 2022 work program, which will focus on the need to connect people to resources, to information and to each other on a personal level.
