One person was killed in a crash Thursday night in Battle Ground, and four others were taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The Battle Ground Police Department and Clark County Fire District 3 responded shortly after 11 p.m. to the intersection of Eaton Boulevard and Southwest 20th Avenue for a two-vehicle crash.

Police arrested Robert T. McIntyre, 49, on suspicion of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault. McIntyre is scheduled to appear Tuesday on the allegations in Clark County Superior Court.

The Battle Ground Police Department said the crash is still under investigation.
