World Blood Donor Day is Tuesday, and the American Red Cross is joining blood collection organizations around the world to celebrate.
Blood donations typically decline in late spring and early summer, but the need for blood and platelet transfusions doesn’t take a summer break.
Here are some upcoming blood donation opportunities in Clark County:
- 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Vancouver Stake Center, 10509 S.E. Fifth St., Vancouver
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 17, Chick-fil-A, 16320 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver
