FISHERS LANDING — Kiddie Academy of Vancouver Fisher’s Landing owners Deepika and Vijay Ilavarasan have been recognized as Franchisees of the Year by the parent company.
The award goes to franchisees who consistently demonstrate attention to detail in all areas of child care operations, marketing and educational programming.
Broc Silberzahn, vice president of franchise development, said the Ilavarasans “are innovative franchisees and are always looking for ways to operationally be more effective and efficient.”
The Ilavarasans opened their franchise in 2017. They also own a Kiddie Academy franchise in Tigard, Ore. In 2019, they were accredited by the National Association for Education of Young Children.
The award was presented at Kiddie Academy’s annual conference, which was held June 2-4 in Austin, Texas.
