City of Vancouver staff are currently developing the 2023-2024 biennial budget, which outlines how resources will be invested in a variety of municipal services. The public can provide feedback on Be Heard Vancouver by Aug. 22 regarding how to rank the city’s priorities.

The policy priorities are:

  • reduce carbon footprint;
  • grow economic opportunity;
  • improve community safety;
  • build and maintain public spaces;
  • improve equity and inclusion.

City Manager Eric Holmes is expected to lead a virtual meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 to discuss the budget process and provide a space for attendees to share their thoughts. Registration details can be found on the city of Vancouver website.
