After a five-game win streak was snapped on Sunday, the Ridgefield Raptors got back in the win column by holding off the Bend Elks on Tuesday in Central Oregon. Ridgefield led 8-1 in the seventh inning before Bend rallied.
KEY MOMENTS: Trent Prokes followed up Mikey Kane’s RBI single with an RBI double, giving the Raptors a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. … Safea Mauai’s two-RBI triple punctuated a five-run seventh inning for Ridgefield. Andy Evans escaped a bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the seventh after Bend had scored four runs to pull within 8-5.
