Vancouver police found more than 20 shell casings Thursday morning and evidence that some bullets hit apartment units at an east Vancouver complex.

Officers responded at 4:49 a.m. to reports of shots heard at the 1st Street Apartments, 301 S.E. 166th Ave.

No one was reportedly injured, according to Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

Police have limited suspect information, Kapp said, but witnesses reported seeing two men and a car leaving the area; officers don’t know whether the car was involved.

Vancouver police’s Safe Streets Task Force is investigating the shooting.
