Was it hot enough for you Monday? In Vancouver it reached 90 degrees early in the afternoon and it topped out as of 5 p.m. at 95 degrees, which for once was the forecast high temperature. That was also our first 90-degree high this month.
Today it will be cooler as ocean breezes head our way. We may reach 90 degrees before the sea breeze kicks in or perhaps a degree or two below that. In any event, no rain, only our natural air conditioning at play. Boy a real short-lived heat wave, right?
As I mentioned here Sunday, we should be in the 80- to 85-degree range this week after today with varying amounts of either low clouds in the morning or high clouds streaming across the blue skies. Wednesday will be the coolest at close to 80 degrees if clouds break up quickly.
Some forecast models show more of a marine influence this weekend with possible morning clouds and cooler temperatures in the 75- to 80-degree range. We’ll see about that. Look at it this way, a couple hot days for those sun worshippers, a couple of seasonal warm days, and a couple cooler days for those that enjoy 80 degrees or cooler like me.
