HAZEL DELL — Brianne Hersey has been named one of four national honorees in ComForCare Home Care’s annual Caregiver of the Year awards.

Hersey has been with the agency since 2017 and has become one of the most sought-after caregivers, according to her citation, because she is caring and compassionate and treats her clients with respect and dignity.

A tea party was held in her honor at ComForCare’s local office. Hersey was the recipient of a crystal award and a $500 gift card.

In 2018, ComForCare Healthcare Holdings began recognizing outstanding caregivers for their service to the clients they cared for and for their commitment to the agency they worked for. Hersey joins three of the agency’s previous local honorees: Katrena Molnar in 2018, Rebecca Bordwine in 2019 and Christel Kates in 2020.
