Camas girls basketball comes up short in 4A bi-district 3rd-place game

Reagan Jamison scored a team-high 26 points on 11 of 17 shooting, but the Camas girls basketball team came up short in a 73-65 loss to Bellarmine Prep in the third-place game of the 4A bi-district tournament Saturday at Curtis High School.

The Papermakers came back from a 24-11 deficit after the first quarter to take a 33-32 lead into halftime.

Bellarmine’s Kiara Stone scored 12 of her game-high 32 points in the fourth quarter to help her team pull away.

Camas’ Kendall Mairs, filling in for injured Addison Harris, had a solid game with nine rebounds, nine assists and five points. And Keirra Thompson had seven points and six assists.

Both teams have advanced to the state regional round and will learn their next opponents on Sunday.
