Mark Morris boys advance to 2A regionals with 80-57 win over Black Hills

Braydon Olson scored a game-high 25 points and the Mark Morris Monarchs defeated Black Hills 80-57 on Thursday at Tumwater in the 2A district tournament.

The win advances Mark Morris (15-8) to the 2A regional round of state next week. Black Hills (12-11) is eliminated.

Mark Morris started strong with a 22-7 lead after the first quarter. The Monarchs also came out strong in the third with a 25-10 advantage for a 62-33 lead.

Deacon Dietz added 18 points, while Kobe Parlin and Dossen Morrow each had 11 for Mark Morris.
