UPDATE: Jay Hunter was located and returned home safe, the Vancouver Police Department announced Saturday evening.

The Vancouver Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing 12-year-old boy.

Jay O. Hunter was last seen Friday at Wy’East Middle School, 1112 S.E. 136th Ave., in east Vancouver, police said.

He was last seen wearing an orange and blue shirt, gray jeans and white shoes, and had a black and gray backpack with him, according to the police department.

Police described Jay as Asian with brown eyes and black hair, standing 4-feet-5-inches tall and weighing about 90 pounds.

“There are no known medical concerns for Jay at this time, and there is no foul play suspected,” the police department said.

Anyone with information about Jay’s whereabouts should call 911 and reference case number 2022-3762.
