Seton Catholic rolls past Montesano at 1A district basketball

After a close opening quarter, Seton Catholic held Montesano to nine total points over the ensuing 24 minutes and cruised to a 55-21 win Thursday in the first round of the 1A district boys basketball tournament.

Three Seton Catholic players reached double digits led by 11 points apiece from Brady Angelo and Jack Jenniges. Jacob George chipped in 10 points.

The Cougars travel to face Eatonville on Saturday with the winner earning a Class 1A regional playoff berth.
