Prep Roundup: Camas girls complete unbeaten league season with win over Union

Addison Harris had 13 points and 13 rebounds as Camas completed an unbeaten league season with a 60-35 win over Union in a 4A Greater St. Helens League girls basketball game on Tuesday.

Kendall Mairs added 10 points and seven steals for Camas (14-6), which will host Rogers-Puyallup in a 4A bi-district first-round game on Friday.

Mariah Gahl had 10 points to lead Union (12-8), which will play at Olympia in a loser-out game on Friday.

KELSO 52, MOUNTAIN VIEW 33 — Natalie Fraley had 22 points, eight rebounds and five steals at Kelso finished an unbeaten 3A GSHL season.

“After playing last night, we came out a little flat,” Kelso coach Jennifer Hamilton said. “But we jumped on them a little in our halfcoure 3-2 zone. A great game for our reserves and nice to seal up the undefeated league season.”

Evermore Kaiser had five rebounds, and Emily Roe added five rebounds.

Kelso will host Bonney Lake on Friday for a berth into the regional round of the state tournament.

Katelyn Henderson scored 18 points for Mountain View.

HERITAGE 51, PRAIRIE 43, OT — Heritage clinched the No. 3 berth from the 3A GSHL to bi-district tournament with an overtime win.

The Timberwolves at Auburn Riverside in a loser-out game on Friday.

SKYVIEW 74, EVERGREEN 18 — Skylar Groesbeck had 18 points and Jordan Labrador-Hallett added 13 to lead Skyview to a non-league win.

Shayla Tran led Evergreen with eight points.

BATTLE GROUND 45, COLUMBIA ADVENTIST 38 — Candice Adams scored 10 points and Darbi Cooper added nine as Battle Ground capped its season with a non-league win. Emma Heinrich led Columbia Adventist with 20 points.

Boys basketball

WOODLAND 40, RIDGEFIELD 39 — Beau Swett scored 12 points and Drew Burns added eight, including a big 3-pointer in the fourth quarter as the Beavers capped league play with a win.

Drew Huddleston added 10 points for Woodland, which will open the 2A district tournament at Tumwater on Saturday.

Henry Hughes had 13 points for Ridgefield, which will open district at home Saturday against Black Hills of Tumwater.

HOCKINSON 72, WASHOUGAL 67 — Logan Wall had 22 points and Sam Kelly added 20 as the Hawks finished 2A GSHL play with a win.

Sam Evers had 23 to lead Washougal.

HUDSON’S BAY 51, FORT VANCOUVER 50 — Joey Gordon hit a 3-pointer as time expired to lift the Eagles to a thrilling win over their rivals.
