Update: Police were notified Thursday that Antonio returned home and is safe.

Vancouver police are seeking video footage of a teenage boy who’s been missing since Jan. 24 from the North Image neighborhood.

Antonio Martinez-Underwood, 15, left his residence between 1 and 2 a.m. near 49th Street and 112th Avenue, according to the Vancouver Police Department. Investigators believe Antonio was wearing a black jacket with a hood, a gold chain, sweatpants and sneakers. He is 5-feet-5-inches tall with brown eyes and black hair.

Police believe Antonio only planned to be gone for a short period. Investigators have not ruled out any circumstances of his disappearance, including the possibility he was abducted, hit by a car or was a victim of another crime, a police news release stated Thursday night.

The police department is asking that people check nearby buildings or businesses in case the teen is injured and needs help. Investigators are also asking people in the area to check doorbell or surveillance cameras for a boy matching Antonio’s description around 2 a.m. Jan. 24 or later.

Anyone in the area during that time and may have seen someone matching Antonio’s description should call Detective David Jensen at 360-487-7446 or 911. Tipsters can also email david.jensen@cityofvancouver.us.
