Chocolate challenge

Candy-themed activities, chocolate, art shows, kids’ crafts, games and prizes are part of the festivities at “A Chocolate Affair to Remember,” 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in downtown Camas. Merchants will serve and sell chocolate goodies and other romantic gifts with wine tastings. Enjoy chocolate cocktails and after-hours shopping. Lions and tigers

Vancouver Mall will host a Lunar New Year celebration on Saturday. At 11 a.m., a lion dance troupe and drummers will perform in the Forever 21 Court. From 3 to 4 p.m., a local calligraphy artist will create personalized bookmarks to celebrate the year of the tiger. This event is free. Masks are required. Love lives

The next Science on Tap Online is at 7 tonight with Florence Williams’ “Heartbreak: A Personal and Scientific Journey.” Williams explores the science of heartbreak while seeking to mend her own over the breakup of her 25-year marriage. Tool time

Columbia Springs and Repair Clark County will host an online workshop about hand tools at 6 tonight. Learn the nuts and bolts of screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, hammers, saws, measuring tools, screws and nails. This workshop has tips and tricks useful even to seasoned pros. Sweetheart art

Art on the Boulevard, 210 W. Evergreen Blvd., Suite 300, will celebrate 16 years of business as a fine art gallery with a group show, “Sweet 16,” from Friday through March 26, showcasing artwork from 16 artists in a range of styles and mediums.
