The Bonneville Power Administration recently presented three Vancouver-area residents with awards as part of its 2022 Administrator’s Excellence Awards program.

Jon Stimmel received the BPA Employee Development Award for establishing priorities for his work group and standardizing engineering templates, which allowed everyone to work from the same starting point.

Aaron McNutt received the BPA Special Service Award for responding to 70 electrical emergencies and using them as opportunities to collaborate across the agency. For example, he was able to replace environmental program equipment during an emergency outage.

Melissa Millard received the BPA Unsung Hero Award for successfully stepping into various leadership roles across the supply chain. Millard led and delivered the overhaul of an aging enterprise asset management system used throughout the agency under budget and on time.

The Building Industry Association of Clark County installed new officers during its November dinner meeting presented by Blue Mountain Community Management. Officers are as follows: President Caleb Blanton of New Tradition Homes; Vice President Chuck Neibert of Affinity Homes; Vice President Secretary Elizabeth Gomez of Bridge City Contracting; Vice President Treasurer Dave Campos of iQ Credit Union; Vice President Associate Mark Kroll of Biggs Insurance; and Immediate Past President Aaron Helmes of Generation Homes Northwest.
