Jeff Lines named Rotary assistant governor

BATTLE GROUND — Jeff Lines was recently appointed incoming assistant governor for the Clark County Region of Rotary District 5100. Lines is a member of Lewis River Rotary Club in Battle Ground and has been a Rotarian for 18½ years.

Lines’ three-year assistant governor term will begin July 1, 2023. He will oversee eight Rotary clubs in Clark County and meet with area club presidents and clubs monthly. His responsibilities include encouraging club goals and successes, fostering membership, and assisting with questions or problems club presidents may have. He will succeed Nelson Holmberg of Three Creeks Rotary Club.

Lines is past president of Lewis River Rotary Club and has also served as club treasurer, youth services director, and sergeant-at-arms. He was also the District 5100 awards and recognition chair for three years and a Rotary Foundation specialist for the Clark County region.
