More than 78,000 people may find relief in a newfound ease of paying utility bills through the city of Vancouver’s revised payment system.

New features enable customers to create an account with a username and store payment information, schedule future payments, manage multiple accounts from one place, enroll in electronic billing and receive help in Spanish. Previously, customers could only access the interface for payments with account and house numbers.

Those who were already enrolled in automatic payments must re-enroll in the new system. They can register their account and sign up for autopay at cityofvancouver.us/utilityhub or call Vancouver’s utilities department at 360-487-7999.

Water and sewer bills can still be paid for in person at the city’s utility billing office, 2323 General Anderson Road, or over the phone by calling 360-487-7999.
