Home near Ridgefield burned down; no injuries reported

Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue responded to a house fire Saturday evening that displaced a family of six. No injuries were reported.

At about 4:49 p.m. Saturday, Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue responded to the fire, in the 5700 block of 246th Street in rural Clark County near Ridgefield, according to a news release. The home was a total loss

Firefighters arrived to find the house on fire, but no one was inside. Fire district 3 and 6 assisted in battling the blaze. A total of two tower ladders, three engines, 2two water tenders and a chief officer responded, totaling 16 personnel.

The Clark County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
