Development processes for Vancouver’s waterfront are nigh, and project leads want to hear your input.

Community members are invited to meet with developer Lincoln Property Company to share feedback on its Waterfront Gateway development. The city of Vancouver’s 6.4-acre site is expected to transform into a mixed-use district and connect downtown Vancouver to the Columbia River’s shore. It will be home to office space, outdoor gathering areas, parking and hundreds of housing units.

Opportunities to share feedback:

  • East Vancouver Farmers Market:  10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at 17701 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.
  • Downtown Vancouver Farmers Market:  9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Sixth and Esther streets. There will be walking tours of the Waterfront Gateway at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Those who are interested must check in at a booth in front of the Slocum House in Esther Short Park.
  • Community Open House at City Hall:  6-8 p.m. Sept. 14 at 415 W. Sixth St. A walking tour will be available to attendees.
