A Washougal man was killed Wednesday in a three-vehicle collision on state Highway 14 near Southeast 164th Avenue.

The crash was reported at about 5:45 p.m. A 2006 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle was traveling east on the highway, driving between lanes. A 2014 Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling east in the right lane, and a 2010 Mazda 3 sedan was traveling east in the left lane.

The pickup merged into the left lane and was struck by the motorcycle, which then struck the Mazda. The motorcycle came to rest on the left shoulder, according to a State Patrol crash memo.

The motorcyclist, identified as Connor G. Harvey, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither the driver of the pickup, identified as Jason A. Guillory, 51, of Vancouver, nor the driver of the Mazda, identified as Joseph W. Thompson, 35, of Camas, were injured. Both were wearing their seat belts, the crash memo states.

Troopers cited lane splitting and speed as the cause of the crash.
