Love Street Playhouse, 126 Loves Ave., Woodland, is holding open auditions for two plays: “Miss Holmes” (showing Oct. 7-23) and “A Nice Family Gathering” (showing Nov. 25 through Dec. 11).
Auditions for “Miss Holmes,” in which the roles of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are recast as women, will be 6-9:30 p.m. Aug. 14. Auditions for “A Nice Family Gathering,” in which a family’s deceased patriarch returns with a message on Thanksgiving Day, will be 6-9 p.m. Aug. 21. Auditioners should bring acting resumes and head shots and be prepared to fill out an online audition form at the theater.
