The Clark County Board of Health is accepting applications for a newly created position on the Public Health Advisory Council. Applicants must live in the county and represent the Clark County Commission on Aging or the aging community.
The position is for a three-year term, which begins as soon as the position is filled and ends Sept. 30, 2025.
The Public Health Advisory Council identifies community health needs, and reviews and recommends public health policies and priorities to address those needs. The council also reviews and makes recommendations to Clark County Public Health and the Board of Health for the annual budget and fees.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. May 6.
