Warmer weather is right around the corner, meaning Vancouver Parks and Recreation will soon be hosting events and activities at parks across the city.

Washington State University Clark County Extension has partnered with Parks and Recreation to host a SNAP-Ed Facebook livestream at 3:30 p.m. Thursday to share details about spring and summer activities at parks and community centers in Vancouver.

Speakers will discuss how to apply for a Youth Opportunity Pass, an all-access pass for teens to use at the Firstenburg and Marshall community centers, as well as summer job opportunities for teens, scholarship programs and free summer camp opportunities for kids at Vancouver parks. The livestream will also include demonstrations of amenities at the Firstenburg Community Center.
