Holland Partner Group’s new Block 10 building will open soon at 801 Columbia St., offering two six-story towers containing apartments and office space for downtown Vancouver. Ground-floor retail space will also allow restaurants and shops to contribute to downtown’s scene.

Leasing for the 110 apartments begins this month and occupancy starts in June. Holland Partner Group will be the first office tenant, moving in at the end of May. The building has about 79,000 leasable square feet for offices.

“Anticipation is high right now for this project,” said Anselm Fusco, managing director at Holland Partner Group. “Given its prime location, the completion of Block 10 will send a clear signal that Vancouver is open for business. We look forward to Block 10 being the next big hub for shopping, working and gathering in the City of Vancouver and we are proud to also call it our new flagship headquarters for Holland Partner Group.”

The building, which includes structured parking, occupies the last of five blocks of the old Lucky Lager Brewery to be redeveloped. The city of Vancouver had marketed the block for nearly 30 years before reaching a development agreement with Holland Partner Group and Arlington, Va.-based EJF Capital.
