April showers may bring May flowers, but Mother Nature doesn’t wait until May. Take a look around, and you’ll see flowers springing up everywhere. So lovely are the daffodils and cherry blossoms adorning our yards and parks right now — and I can hardly wait for tulips and iris to join the blossom parade. Spring is so much fun!
Much has been written about flowers — how to grow, how to arrange, how to appreciate — and the library is the perfect place to find a favorite floral-themed read. Sometimes less is more, so I will keep this column brief and let the words of others speak to the beauty of blooms.
