Eatonville running back Blain Hanly had two touchdowns and an interception as the Cruisers sped past La Center, 35-13, in a non-league football game on Friday night.
Eatonville scored on the first play from scrimmage, Austin Wicker rushing off left end for a 64-yard score, and never slowed down. The Cruisers scored touchdowns on all but two drives, stopped once in the first half and again when they knelt out the clock to close the game.
Wicker finished with 88 yards rushing to lead the Cruisers and quarterback Kevin Wulff was 3-for-6 for 83 yards passing and two touchdowns in the win. Job Kralik had two catches for 66 yards and a touchdown.
La Center dominated the time of possession, holding the ball for 25 more minutes, including a 19-play drive that lasted the entire third quarter. Turnovers were costly, however, with two interceptions and a fumble ending promising drives as the Wildcats looked to mount a comeback.
