Ridgefield’s Ryan Jenkins is Northwest Personal Training Week 3 prep football player of the week

Ridgefield’s Ryan Jenkins is the Northwest Personal Training Week 3 high school football player of the week.

Jenkins received 380 votes to beat out Seton Catholic’s Lance Stuck for the honor.

Jenkins caught five passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. He also had an interception and blocked a punt in a win over Hockinson.

The nominees were:

HOLDEN BEA, WASHOUGAL: Bea completed 18 of 23 passes for 257 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Woodland.

TEDDY BEAVER, SKYVIEW: Beaver caught two passes for 24 yards and one touchdown and had a 78-yard kickoff return for a score in a win over Sunnyside.

JACKSON ESARY, KALAMA: Esary rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 231 yards and two more TDs and was the team’s leading tackler on defense in a win over La Center.

RYAN JENKINS, RIDGEFIELD: Jenkins caught five passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. He also had an interception and blocked a punt in a win over Hockinson.

LANCE STUCK, SETON CATHOLIC: Stuck caught six passes for 124 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to Tenino.
