ESTHER SHORT — The volunteer-run nonprofit and no-kill cat shelter Furry Friends raised $400 at the Peace and Justice Fair on Sept. 11, where they had a booth sharing information and merchandise. They also administered discounted microchips for dogs and cats. Money raised goes directly to the care of the cats and kittens.
