Mark Morris running back Jaden Anderson ran for 88 of his 105 yards in the second half to lead the Monarchs to a victory over Columbia River in a 2A GSHL football game on Friday night at Kiggins Bowl.
Anderson scored two touchdowns and quarterback Kellen Desbiens connected for scores on two of his three second-half passes to lead the Monarchs to 27 unanswered points.
The Monarchs defense helped in the comeback effort, forcing two turnovers and holding Columbia River to just 78 yards in the second half.
Desbiens finished 12-for-20 for 137 yards passing.
River quarterback Adam Watts, who rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter, had 138 yards passing and Victor Flores had a team-high 48 yards rushing and a touchdown.
