How Clark County College Football Players Fared, Sept. 11

Camas grad Colletto named to Hornung Award weekly honor roll

Jack Colletto is a rare college football player who can make an impact on both offense and defense.

This week, the Oregon State junior from Camas High had his versatility honored. Colletto was named to the Paul Hornung Award weekly honor roll, which celebrates players who contribute on both sides of the ball.

In Saturday’s 45-27 win over Hawai’i, Colletto opened Oregon State’s scoring with a 2-yard touchdown run. He would carry the ball five times for 15 yards.

While Oregon State often turns to Colletto in short-yardage situations, the former Camas quarterback sees most of his action on defense as an inside linebacker. Saturday, Colletto had one tackle and has four tackles in two games, including one for a loss.

Colletto (6-foot-3, 239 pounds) also has one kickoff return this season for 11 yards.

Here are some of the top performances from college football players from Clark County this past weekend.
